Dylan Blue is an accomplished actor, filmmaker, and performer with nearly two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. A SAG-AFTRA member since the age of 10, Dylan has made a significant mark in film, television, music, and theater.

Dylan’s acting career began as a child, and his breakout role came in 2006 when he starred in the Christmas classic Deck the Halls alongside Danny DeVito, Matthew Broderick, Kristin Davis, and Kristen Chenoweth.

His work has taken him to prestigious festivals, with films premiering at Tribeca, Hamptons International, and Sundance. Over the years, he’s shared scenes with legends such as Michael J. Fox, Parker Posey, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Sacha Baron Cohen in projects helmed by renowned directors like Adam McKay, Amy Sherman-Palladino, and Ken Kwapis.

In television, Dylan starred in Comedy Central’s Big Lake, as the little brother of Josh (Chris Gethard), the prodigal son who returns home after a Wall St. scandal. The show, produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, featured an ensemble cast including Chris Parnell, Britt Lower, Horatio Sanz, and showcased Dylan’s talent for blending heartfelt moments with sharp comedic timing.

Dylan played a pivotal role in Showtime’s Happyish, co-starring alongside Philip Seymour Hoffman in one of Hoffman’s final performances. In this existential comedy, Dylan, portrayed a physical manifestation of Hoffman’s superego. The pilot, directed by John Cameron Mitchell, offered Dylan the opportunity to hold his own opposite one of the greatest actors of his generation.

On the silver screen, Dylan’s captivated audiences in Patti Cake$ (Sundance) and The Preppie Connection (Hamptons International). He also contributed notable performances in The Dictator and Just Like The Son (Tribeca).

Beyond acting, Dylan is a passionate filmmaker. He has directed and produced numerous short films, collaborating with celebrated artists like frequent Richard Linklater composer, Graham Reynolds and Oscar-nominated editor Mindy Elliott.

In 2023, Dylan and Laurence Lau produced The Long Walk Home, a 60’s period drama short film that explores an intense relationship between an art teacher and her student.

Dylan’s dedication to his craft is evident in his ongoing training with The Barrow Group, where he is a nearly decade-long member of the master class under Lee Brock and Seth Barrish. He is also a proud member of The Actor’s Gym, led by Bobby Moresco, which allows him to explore new artistic frontiers.
